Month Seven August 28, 2008
7 months old today!
You’ve done so many new things yet there are so many more things you want, and one day will be able, to do. You want to stand alone so badly. I catch you in the middle of the room trying to push your self up off the floor… You look like you’re doing yoga. J
Since Simone left Alysha Lykins has been watching you. At first you would NOT let Allen put you down. You have tons of fun there. Ella gets mad when I come to pick you up and Paul gets mad the days you aren’t there. I’m really glad we found someone we know and trust to take care of you while mommy’s at work.
We went to Las Vegas at the beginning of August to visit Grandma and Simone and you finally met 2 of your uncles. You did great on the car ride! The only time you really cried was when we were almost home! There was a little piano at the house we stayed at and you just loved it. While we were there you crawled on your knees for the first time!
Sometimes you do this little walking crawl thing with one foot on the ground. The house has been baby proofed all though we still need gates for the stairs. You still love your jumper, but you haven’t been in your swing for about 2 months! (Note to self take that down.) I got you a little table to stand at and even when the legs are off you try to stand at it! You stand on mom, you stand on dad, and you stand on pretty much whatever you can. You just love to stand! You think you are the biggest boy already! You crawl, you stand, you hold on to thing with one hand!
We got a doggy for daddy’s birthday. He is a German shepherd. We named him Chaos partly because he is very ‘excitable’, but mainly because it’s the only thing we could remotely agree upon. When you see him you get really excited, but we don’t let him get to close because he doesn’t know not to ‘nibble’ and we don’t want you getting bitten!
I think your teething again. L You’re drooling, you have a runny nose, and you’re BITING everything, the works. You seem to only like biting mommy. You bite my shoulder, my knee, whatever is near you, you will bite.
Every day you do something new. I can’t believe how much you’ve changed and grown in just 7 months. You’re just going to keep on changing, but only for the better.

ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY TWO POUNDS August 25, 2008
I’m really confused. How can I weigh 142 pounds (yeah WTF stupid baby weight) and be wearing a size 4 right now.. (I usually wear a 6) Yeah I am practicing the art of sucking-in-at-all-times-while-standing-up, but… a FOUR. At ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY-TWO POUNDS. Say what?!? First of all.. what the hell am I doing weighing 142 pounds. the most I’ve ever weighed besides being pregnant. Second. these have to be a REALLY big size 4..
I’m going on a diet.
Okay I lied. I can’t do that… cause I’m still nursing. But I’m def working out more. Me and Dev have been doing the 30 Day Shred video I claimed I was going to do about a month ago, but never really did. Now we’re commited though. And I did 100 crunches last night… 50 on the floor and 50 with the Bender Ball. I also did 50 bicycle crunch things…
Goal- Lose at LEAST 15 pounds by Halloween… This would be about where I was before I got pregnant.
Can I do it? Prob not.. I’ll be done by next week.. but hey.. I’ll try.

I have an idea. For Taiden Tuesday.
Until I have a picture in every “country” I am going to take Taiden to the park on Mondays and take Taiden Tuesday pics in a different Country every week. It should be awesome. Oh, but I’m not doing it until I have my new camera.. which I plan on getting as soon as the money from my STD (SHORT TERM DISABILITY) comes. 
I found a camera.. It’s going to be AWESOME. HAHA BITCHES LOOK AT THIS sweet DEAL!

Taiden will be 7 months in 8 days. I always laughed and thought I’d never be the over-emotional mother when it comes to my kids growing up.. I mean, they HAVE to right. You know it’s going to happen… It’s inevitable..
Some days I’m even like hurry and be 21 months so I can get pregnant again…
So why am I sitting at work tearing up just thinking about it?
Cause I’m lame that’s why. I’m just like all those mothers I laughed at. (For the recored I don’t think you are all lame.. just me.)

Taiden is 6 and a half months now, and I’m still nursing. I have to pump at work and it’s kind of a hassle. Not because of work… But because there is only one place for me to pump, a bathroom, where 3 other mothers pump. It kinda of a guessing game as to when someone will be in there and I really only talk to one person who uses that restroom. We talked about it and we usually pump around the same time. Really I told her I pump at about 12:30 but I’ve been kind of holding off until 1:00 so it’s kind of my own fault, that she often has to wait outside for me. Today another coworker came back from leave, and while talking about her son she asked me if I pump at work. I beamed and informed on of the “informal nursing room” (sidetrack) It’s kind of funny how she just assumed I am nursing. But I like it. I like that more mother’s are pumping and not supplementing because of the inconvenience of pumping at work. Now if I wasn’t nursing and/or pumping, because I couldn’t produce milk, or my son couldn’t latch on I’m sure I would’ve had a totally different reaction. But I am and I’m proud. Anyways… I was explaining to her how after bitching about it for 3 months I was informally informed of the possibility of a mother’s room. IT. STILL. HASN’T. HAPPENED. I really hope it does. Even if it’s after I’m done nursing/pumping. Because it sucks to pump sitting on a hard chair looking at a toilet. Maybe someone will benefit from my bitching persistence.
